Logo and Favicon

Build your perfect logo and add your site’s favicon, use the tools given at the Logo and Favicon center under General Settings in Theme Options to get the result you imagined in your design.

Logo Builder

Let’s get started with your logo.

Upload a logo image, any type would do, but the preferred logo size is 270×137. Once you’ve uploaded your image you’ll get a preview in the Peview logo Position and Size wrapper.

leave the logo as is (what you would do if your logo is the standard 270×137 size) or you’ll need some modifications to make it look good, you can use the dragable arrows to resize your logo ( keep in mind that this wrapper represents the height of your header ) or use the editable fields below to set it by pixels.

to set the header height please see <a href=”http://docs.creiden.com/circleflip/theme-options-2/general-settings/header-settings/”>Header Settings</a>.

Those Boxes :D

The first field sets the width.

Second sets the height.

Third sets an empty space between the top edge and the start of your logo. (top margin)

Fourth sets an empty space between the left edge and the start of your logo. (left margin)

Use the Reset Size if you’ve made a mess out of your logo and want to go back to the very begining when you uploaded the image.

Logo wrapper width

Reset this option if you’re using a logo with a width less than 270 pixels, to set the wrapper to the exact width of your logo and get a better understanding about your logo.

Rentina Logo

If you’re gonna view your site on HD displays “chances are you will” then you need to upload a Retina Logo to show it with pride on those HDs.

Retina logos are the same logo, but 2 times larger. ie: if your logo is 270*130 then your retina should be 540*260.

Remeber to modify the name to end with @2x.png.

example: your logo name is Logo.png => your Retina logo must be named Logo@2x.png

Setting the Favicon is my personal favorite setting, I just love that moment when the tab of my website takes the icon I set, but I am weird :D

Anyways, the favicon is what you see next to your website’s title on any browser. If you don’t know what it is, check the image to right here… it’s that red Circle of ours.

Upload your own favicon ( for best results get the 16×16 icon ) using the uploader, keep in mind that it must be a .ico file type.
